Terms of Service
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Milaeshop's multiplatform chat widgets and portal, provided by us ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
What the service is
Milaeshop lets streamers combine chat from Twitch, YouTube and Kick into a single overlay, and offers other customizable stream widgets (goal trackers, timers, polls, leaderboards and similar). The service is under active development — features may change, and some are still a work in progress.
Your account
You sign in with Twitch. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for anything that happens through it. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by any streaming platform you connect, whichever is higher.
Connecting other platforms
Connecting YouTube or Kick is optional. When you connect a platform, you're also agreeing to that platform's own terms — for YouTube, that includes the YouTube Terms of Service. We only use the access you grant to read chat and deliver the features described in the Privacy Policy; we don't post, moderate, or take other actions on your connected accounts. You can disconnect a platform at any time.
Your Milaeshop key
We generate a key for your account that you paste into your widget so it can identify itself to us. Keep it private — treat it like a password. If it leaks, you can ask us to regenerate it without needing to reconnect your platforms.
Widget purchases
Widgets are sold through Etsy, VGen and Ko-fi. Those purchases, payments and any refunds are handled entirely by those platforms under their own terms — we don't process payments or store payment details ourselves.
Ko-fi donations
If you connect Ko-fi, donation events are delivered to us via a webhook you set up yourself in your own Ko-fi account. We relay that information to your widget; we're not a party to the donation itself.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to violate the law, another person's rights, or the terms of any platform you connect through us. Don't try to disrupt the service, access accounts that aren't yours, or reverse-engineer the widgets for resale as your own product.
Intellectual property
The Milaeshop software, site and widget designs are ours (or our licensors'). Purchasing a widget gives you a license to use it on your own stream as described at purchase — it doesn't transfer ownership of the underlying code or design. You keep all rights to your own stream content and chat data that passes through the service.
Service availability
We do our best to keep things running, but the service is provided "as is," without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may change or discontinue features, with notice where reasonably possible.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — for example, lost stream revenue from a widget outage. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or misuse a connected platform's access.
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the portal before taking effect.
